Anonymous asked: What about your life outside of film? You make it clear that it is your passion and it consumes most of your time, but what about the rest of you? Friends, hobbies, guilty pleasures? How do you spend your free time?

First of all let me preface this by saying that whoever you are asking these questions, you’re doing a kickass job and asking good questions.

Outside of film, I spend a lot of time wandering around taking photos, or going on aimless walks around the neighborhood. I also spend a fair amount of my nights shooting concerts for Brooklyn Vegan Chicago. So a lot of time is spent editing photos from those shows. I also really do love to cook and bake. I haven’t baked anything since I moved back to Chicago, and I’m hoping to change that when I have some free time. Lately I’ve been perfecting the art of making burgers at home on the stove, they’ve turned out really damn good so far. Food is definitely a huge part of my free time, I’m somewhat of a foodie.

I also do enjoy going out for drinks with friends, or grabbing a bite to eat (that’s usually the case), or on occasion, when I can afford it, going to see a movie in theaters.
